Private Frank Charles Lenzer

Berkshire Yeomanry lived at 91 Chester Terrace, Reading Road, Henley. His father was the manager of the Red Lion Hotel, Henley. Frank served in Egypt and was awarded the Military Medal for conspicuous service. He died in Egypt of pneumonia on 4th November 1918 one of the last Henley men to die before the Armistice. He was buried in Basra War Cemetery.
