Henley on Thames Rem.Assn.WW2

In 2019 Mike has turned his attention to WW2 starting with the names on the Henley Town Hall. Other WW2 names on the war memorials in surrounding villages are included in his research.

A lot of the work has already been done - sourcing photographs and completing initial research into the Henley family background and military service of each man.

To fill in any gaps in his information, Mike will once again be holding drop-in sessions in the Henley Library - dates and times to be announced in the next few weeks. If you have any information, photographs, snippets of information about Henley men or women who served in the Second World War, he would love to hear from you.

Either make contact through the website or call in at the Library on one of the sessions. The work will be brought together for a commemoration in November 2019 to mark the 80th anniversary of the start of WW2.
